Cookie Statement

What Cookies Are Used For

Piksel Pusula uses cookies to remember your progress through the pixel compass world, keep track of your navigation preferences, and ensure the game loads correctly each time you return. These small data files are stored in your browser and help us deliver a consistent and responsive experience across sessions.

Essential Cookies Keep Game Running

Some cookies are strictly necessary for Piksel Pusula to function — they manage your active session, authenticate your explorer identity on the map grid, and prevent errors when transitioning between game zones. Without these cookies, core navigation mechanics would not operate as intended.

Performance Cookies Improve Gameplay

Performance cookies collect anonymous information about how players interact with the game interface, which compass directions are most frequently used, and where navigation slowdowns occur. This data helps us optimise zone loading times and fine-tune the difficulty balance of puzzle stages. No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.

Functional Cookies Remember Your Settings

Functional cookies store your chosen display settings, language preference, and custom control layout so you do not need to reconfigure them on every visit. They also remember which tutorial steps you have already completed, so the game can skip introductory segments you have seen before.

Analytics Cookies and Map Behaviour

We use analytics cookies to understand broader player behaviour patterns — for example, which exploration routes are most popular and which areas of the pixel map receive the least traffic. Aggregated insights from these cookies guide future level design decisions and content updates. The data is processed in a way that does not identify individual players.

Third-Party Cookies on the Platform

Certain features within Piksel Pusula, such as leaderboards and social sharing tools, are provided by third-party services that may place their own cookies in your browser. These parties operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We select third-party partners whose data practices align with responsible handling standards.

Managing and Withdrawing Cookie Consent

You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time through the settings panel within the game or through your browser's built-in cookie management tools. Disabling certain categories of cookies may affect how some features of Piksel Pusula perform, but the core gameplay will remain accessible. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before you changed your settings.

Cookie Retention and Expiry Periods

Session cookies expire automatically when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period — typically between 30 days and 12 months depending on their purpose. After expiry, cookies are deleted from your browser and no further data is collected through them. You may also delete cookies manually at any time using your browser settings.
